Beware, pastors, when preparing a sermon, you may be preparing your sentence.

What if I don’t repent? What if I don’t confess? Then I fear that sin will find you only on judgment day! Ecclesiastes 2:14 Look at this…tremble! For God will bring every work into judgment, and even everything that is hidden, whether it is good or bad. God will bring judgment even on what is hidden, whether it is good or bad, He is talking about judgment.

Pastor, How do I Solve This Problem?

I will tell you something so simple, just listen to this sentence I wrote. If you do not find your sin to repent of it, it will find you to kill you! And now what do I have to do? Before your sin finds you and kills you, find it yourself and kill it!

How do I Kill Sin?

Find it, confess it, repent of it, and forsake it before it kills you. Don’t wait for sin to find you, find it yourself.

Look what happened to King David. 2 Samuel 21:15 And the Philistines fought against Israel: and David went down, and his servants with him: and they fought against the Philistines so much that David was weary.

Came the Philistines, again, of the countless times they had affronted Israel, but they came, again, again the Philistines made war against Israel! My brother, the enemy is relentless in fighting the church, you must have faced him many times, you must have resisted him many times and you have beaten him many times, but you have also been defeated by him many times. You have already prayed, you have already fasted, you have fought against sin, all the forces, forms, weapons, and resources against it, but today, in this period once again it comes against you, once again your sins rise against you! Sins are tireless, they will not give up fighting you, Satan will once again invest in fighting the church. And after tens, hundreds, or even thousands of battles, whether you win or not, he will come again.

King David even though he was tired according to the text, he did not hesitate, David did not retreat, David was already a decorated king, the richest man in the world, he had all the decorations and all the glory, there was no need for David to be there and no need to fight. But David was going not to fight for his own sake or his glory, but to defend the Kingdom. So in the same way, no matter how many times the enemy comes against us, let us be willing and go down against him to face him!

Don’t retreat, don’t run away, face him, fight, don’t stop praying, don’t leave the secret place of fasting, don’t leave the congregation, because it is not his name you are defending, it is not his kingdom you are defending, it is the Kingdom of GOD you are representing; it is his Chief and his General you are saluting! Go to war, you have a Name (JESUS), you have a Kingdom to advance, and you have a Name to give Glory to.

Go, find your sin before it finds you and kills you, when you get there, fight it to the death. Most are in failure and defeat because they have stopped fighting, they are at the mercy of the enemy, and they have been besieged, cornered, trapped, and frightened, if you are like that, you are already in defeat, so get up from that chair and go, fight your sins.
