Do you know what Moses did? Do you know why Moses stayed on Mount Sinai before GOD for 40 days and 40 nights? Do You Know What He Was Doing There?

“Today you will learn why Moses went up to the mountain and stayed there for 40 days and 40 nights.”

Deuteronomy chapter nine, verse twenty-five onwards; look at what is written in this book: “Look at Moses saying, ‘I, Moses, have therefore prostrated myself before the LORD for forty days and forty nights. I prostrated myself because the LORD said he wanted to destroy you!

My God in heaven, how deep and frightening.”

Continuing with the text: And I prayed to the LORD, saying, “Lord GOD, do not destroy your people and your inheritance, which you redeemed by your greatness, which you brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand. Remember your servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Look not on the hardness of this people, nor on their wickedness, nor on their sin; lest the people of the land whence thou hast brought us out say, Because the Lord was not able to bring them into the land of which he promised them, and because he hated them, he brought them out to slay them in the wilderness; yet they are thy people, and thine inheritance…
